About Our Visionary
 Rev. Bryant Whitted is a pastor with a vision. His main goal will always be to win souls to the Body of Christ and empower them through teaching & preaching the Word Of God. He works diligently toward that mark. Before his role as pastor, he served as a musician, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, Young Adult Sunday School Teacher, Associate Minister at Bethlehem M.B.C. Osceola ,Ar, ; Laymen President for the General Baptist District for a period of 4 years, Treasurer for the General Baptist District Congress of Christian Education. Rev. Whitted received his ministerial license October 29, 2000 and was Ordained January, 2003, under the leadership of Dr.Moses Black.Rev. Whitted has also participated in various community activities such as Osceola/South Mississippi County Community and Economic Development Think Tank sponsored by the Osceola Chamber of Commerce; Community Youth Mentor; Youth Challenge Mentor, North Little Rock, AR; Voter Registration Drive. In November 2001, Rev. Whitted received the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Award. Rev. Whitted and First Lady Kim Whitted have three beautiful children, Jeremy, Taylor and Sharnell; one granddaughter. Rev. Whitted was elected as pastor of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in January 2003 and installed in March 2003. Under his leadership, there is new life in the church! In just 2 short years, there have been many changes: a church van was acquired, a food ministry was established as well as a media ministry and televised worship services and radio boradcast--a historical first. Because of his vision, his tenacity and his faith, services are now being held in a Beautiful New Worship Center which has a seating capacity of 325 instead of the previous 100. The new Worship Center is located at 50 South Jefferson Street, Wilson, Arkansas. Our first Celebration Service was held in the new sanctuary on Saturday, November 26, 2005. Our official Dedication Services were held on Sunday, December 18 2005. Pastor Whitted is a visionary for which many great things are in store. Because of his leadership, membership has grown from 30 per week to over 170 per week and over 60 have confessed their hope in Christ and been baptized. Pastor Whitted is responsible for a massive outreach ministry to reach the lost for Christ. During the Dedication Services, the church name officially became Greater Macedonia Baptist Church. Pastor Whitted is truly a man of God and a committed soldier in God's army, indeed, sent by God! The Macedonia Church Family is blessed immeasurably to have him as the leader of our church. Calendar
